Graduate School Admitted Students Day

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University-Camden!

We hope you will join us on Thursday, March 31st from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm to learn more about our campus and your program and meet some of our current students.  The program will take place in our campus center multipurpose room.  Please be sure to register if you plan to attend this event.

Please note: this event is for Summer and Fall 2016 Admitted Students Only.

12:00 pm Optional Campus and Graduate Housing Tour
               Check in at Registration Desk in Lobby

12:30 pm Lunch with Current Students (Campus Center Lobby and Multipurpose Room)
                Enjoy lunch from  with some of our current students and faculty, see student research projects,
                and learn more about the campus.

1:30 pm Welcome from Dean Howard Marchitello
              Associate Dean for Research and the Graduate School

              Overview of Rutgers-Camden and Graduate Services
              Learn more about the campus, the graduate school, graduate financial aid and on-campus housing.

2:00 pm Student Panel               
              Hear first-hand experiences of life as a graduate student at Rutgers-Camden

2:30 pm Program Break-out Sessions
              Speak with the graduate director from your program to learn about courses, research, and faculty.

3:30 pm Student Research Panel
Hear from current graduate students who have presented their work at national conferences in their field

4:00 pm  Conclusion

4:00 pm  Optional Tour of Downtown Camden

4:30 pm Optional Coffee and Gelato Social with Current Students
                Featuring Hand-crafted Espresso Drinks, Specialty Tea, and Gelato from Top Hat Espresso Caterers

Rutgers-Camden is easily accessible by train or bus from Philadelphia. 

If you are driving to campus, please indicate your need for a parking pass on the RSVP form.  A parking pass will be emailed to you prior to the event.
