Teaching and Graduate Assistantships

Prospective graduate students may apply for assistantships when they apply for admission by filling out the relevant section on the application in regards to financial assistantships and academic awards. Applicants who complete the appropriate section of the form when they apply for admission are considered for those financial awards granted by the university for which they may be eligible. Graduate directors will determine who will be awarded the assistantships as well as what amount (if any) they will be given. There are a limited amount of scholarships and assistantships available. Please note that only the following programs have either teaching assistantships or graduate assistantships:

Individual graduate programs may also have limited scholarship funds for promising students.  The programs will notify their outstanding applicants of the availability of these funds when they complete their application.
