Now that you have committed, your next step is to register for classes. Students who have received scholarship letters must register for classes within 30 days of receiving their scholarship notice. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you navigate the registration process. (Please note: meeting with your program director is optional, but encouraged). Registration will open on April 17th.
Course registration procedure:
- Meet with your graduate program director:
- During this meeting, you should discuss:
- Your course schedule
- Your background, relevant skills and experience
- Your research interests, if applicable
- Your academic and professional goals
- Any program-specific questions you may have
- During this meeting, you should discuss:
- Activate your NetID
- Visit netid.rutgers.edu to activate your NetID and Rutgers email account, which will allow you access to our online registration system and much more.
- You may need your Rutgers Identification number (RUID) and PAC code to register. Your PAC-Personal Access Code by default is your month and day of birth in MMDD format.
- Register via WebReg
- Once you have activated your NetID, login to WebReg: https://sims.rutgers.edu/webreg/
- Choose Semester: Fall 2023 and hit ‘Continue’
- First way to add courses:
- Click on the ‘Course Lookup’ tab and select ‘Camden,’ ‘Graduate,’ and ‘Continue’
- Type in your program name
- Click the course you want and hit ‘Register’
- Click ‘I agree & add courses’
- Repeat this process for the other courses you want to add
- Second way to add courses:
- Click on the ‘Course Lookup’ tab and select ‘Camden,’ ‘Graduate,’ and ‘Continue’
- Type in your program name
- Click the course you want and find the Pfx number under the Index column
- Repeat this process for the other courses you want to add
- Input all the Pfx numbers into the ‘Manage Registration’ tab
- Click ‘Add courses’
