The Graduate Statistics Tutor provides support for students across disciplines taking courses in statistical analysis.
- One on One and small group sessions with students that need assistance with: quantitative methods and statistical analysis courses, thesis/dissertation data clean-up, analysis, and interpretation
- Assistance with statistical software including SPSS, STATA, R, Matlab, and Excel
- Help with study methods and provide outside resources
- Better understanding of scholarly articles using quantitative data
Every Tuesday for the month of October
Open Computer Lab
4 – 6 pm
All of the computers have the statistical analysis programs Excel, STATA, SPSS, R, and MATLAB. You’re able to run tests, organize data, or play with the programs under the supervision of the Graduate Statistics Tutor in a more relaxed space. You are welcome to walk-in at anytime. There’s no need to schedule in advance, but during this time Amanda will not be accepting appointments. Please reach out to Amanda if you have questions.
As a Rutgers student/staff member you have access to Lynda.com (now known as LinkedIn Learning). This is usually a pay-for service. LinkedIn Learning offers industry-leading content and courses taught by expert instructors in leadership, project management, graphic design, photography, software development, and more. In order to log-in into this service visit this site. (https://it.rutgers.edu/linkedin-learning/ ) and hit the “Linkedin Learning Login” red button. Once prompted you can link it to your existing LinkedIn profile or continue without it.
All appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Students must use Raptor Connect to make an appointment. Click on the blue button in the top right corner to make an appointment once you log in.
