The Rutgers Center for Organizational Leadership is pleased to announce that the nomination process for participation in the 2022-2023 PreDoctoral Leadership Development Academy (PLDA) will open on Monday, March 21, 2022.
The PLDA is a one-year program open to any Rutgers University doctoral student from Camden, Newark, New Brunswick, or Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. The program is designed to provide selected doctoral students with an introduction to current practices and challenges in higher education, and knowledge of the organizational, analytic, communication, and personal competencies recognized as critical to effective leadership across multiple organizational settings.
More detailed information about the PLDA program and nomination process will be communicated ahead of the application period, but please be sure to note these key dates:
- March 21, 2022: The PLDA nomination process will open
- April 15, 2022: Nominations are due
- April 25, 2022: Completed applications are due from doctoral students
- May 2022: Decisions will be announced
