Join us for a day of honoring the research that graduate students have been working on throughout their graduate education. There will be three main events that take place throughout the day. Food and beverage will be served at each event!
PROJECT PRESENTATIONS:
Students will have the opportunity to present their projects in front of an audience. Each presentation will be about 10 minutes in length and presentations will be split up into three sessions, broken down based on discipline. This event will take place from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, in one hour sessions. The break down for these sessions will be made available at a later date. All students are welcome to attend these sessions and listen to the speakers.
PAPER COMPETITION:
Students will have the opportunity to submit their final papers and be entered into a competition to win a cash prize. There will be two different categories for this competition: Master’s papers and Doctoral papers. A winner will be selected from each of the categories and the winners will give a 10 minute keynote speech during the symposium. Keynote speeches will take place from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. All students are welcome to attend the keynote speeches.
POSTER EXHIBITION:
Students will have the opportunity to present their research with a research poster. Posters will be hanging up the room and presenting students will have the opportunity to share their research with other students and faculty who attend the exhibition. The exhibition will take place from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. All students are welcome to attend the exhibition and learn more about the research that current students have conducted.
