Call for Submissions:

Showcase your research at the Graduate Research and Creative Works Symposium on Tuesday, April 18th.

We are accepting submissions for:

Project Presentations:

You will have the opportunity to present your project in front of an audience. Presentations should be about 10 minutes in length. Presentations will be split up into three sessions, broken down based on discipline, and these presentations will take place from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. 

Paper Competition:

You will have the opportunity to submit your final paper and be entered into a competition to win a cash prize. There will be two different categories for this competition: Master’s papers and Doctoral papers. A winner will be selected from each of the categories and the winners will be asked to give a 10 minute keynote speech during the symposium. Keynote speeches will take place from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. 

Poster Exhibition:

You will have the opportunity to present your research with a research poster. Posters will be hanging around the room and you will have the opportunity to share your research with other students and faculty. The exhibition will take place from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. 


If interested in participating in any of these events, please full out the interest form linked below. All students interested must submit an abstract of their research. This form will close on March 21, 2023 at 11:59 PM.

Graduate Research and Creative Works Symposium Interest Form

Once the form closes, the Graduate School staff will review submissions. We will reach out to students interested in the Project Presentations on March 28, 2023 with the time you will be presenting. We will also send a reminder out to students on March 28, 2023 to submit your final submissions.

Final submissions for all three events will be due on April 11, 2023 at 11:59 PM. Project Presentations and Papers should be submitted to the dropbox linked below. All posters must be printed by this date and brought to the Graduate School Building.

For instructions on how to print out a poster on campus, visit this website. Templates can be found on this site as well. The requested poster size is 36″ H x 48″ W, landscape orientation. All posters require a minimum of two business days to print and students are responsible for the fee associated with printing out this poster.
