Faculty Featured in NBC and Substack Election Coverage
The election is now behind us, but the conversations that helped the region make sense of it included a consistent voice from Rutgers–Camden. Stephen Danley, Associate Professor of Public Policy and Administration and Director of the Center for Urban Research and Education (CURE), was a frequent contributor throughout the season, offering grounded context on what the races in New Jersey and Philadelphia meant for the communities they serve. His public engagement reflects the applied focus of the Public Administration programs (EMPA and MPA) and the Public Affairs | Community Development MS and PhD programs.

Danley took part in NBC10 Philadelphia’s @Issue: The Countdown to Election Day, a segment reviewing the New Jersey governor’s race and the Philadelphia District Attorney rematch ahead of November 4. The program walked through what voters in both states would encounter at the polls.

He also appeared on Brian Rosenwald’s “The World According to Brian” Politics and Media Substack, joining Rosenwald and Michael A. Cohen for a live conversation on October 22.
