Special Instructions

Below you will find important information and instructions regarding transcript submission to Rutgers University. The provided details include specific guidelines based on different scenarios and circumstances, ensuring a clear understanding of the requirements for submitting your transcripts.

Rutgers Students

If you attended Rutgers at any time, your transcript will be sent to us automatically. Please ensure that your RUID is listed on the application.

Attended Institution Other than Rutgers

If you didn’t attend Rutgers and your institution is a sending member of Parchment, eScrip-Safe, or National Student Clearinghouse, Rutgers will be able to receive your official transcripts electronically.

International Students
  • We accept electronic transcripts from India sent via TrueCopy Credentials.
  • Applicants from Chinese institutions can request and submit official transcripts directly through CSSD.
  • If you choose to submit a credential evaluation from a third party (such as WES), please remember to also include the transcript from your institution.
  • Transcripts in languages other than English must be accompanied by certified translations in English.
  • If the grading scale of your institution is accessible, please ensure to include that information.
