Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration: Engage, Learn, Reflect
Each year, Rutgers University–Camden’s Division of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement (DICE) curates a series of events to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s enduring impact. These events invite the campus and local community to come together in celebrating his life, reflecting on his legacy, and embracing his vision of justice, equality, and leadership.

Empowering Leaders for Today | Wednesday, January 22 11:20 am–12:20 pm Armitage 105 | Learn evidence-based “no blame” problem-solving strategies with The Citizens Campaign and explore opportunities for leadership certificates and civic engagement through DICE. Register Here |
The Art of Racial Healing | Thursday, January 23 5 pm–7 pm Campus Center Multi-Purpose Room | Celebrate Racial Healing Day with an evening of storytelling, music, visual arts, and spoken word inspired by Dr. King’s vision of unity and resilience. Reception to follow. Register Here |
From Emotions to Action | Thursday, January 30 12:45 pm–1:45 pm Campus Center – West C | Rutgers–Camden alumni and community organizers will discuss solutions-driven approaches to community challenges, led by the Industrial Areas Foundation. Register Here |
