Graduate School–Camden graduates from the Classes of 2020 and 2021 will be joined by graduates of the Camden College of Arts and Sciences and University College-Camden and the School of Business–Camden in this commemoration of your achievements.

The ceremony is expected to last approximately two hours. All graduates are expected to remain until the end of the ceremony. Please note that there is no rehearsal for commencement. Additionally, the BB&T is not climate controlled and may be cool when outside temperatures are below 60 degrees.
BB&T’s COVID TESTING AND VACCINATION POLICIES
Please visit https://livemu.sc/3umag9D to review the COVID testing and vaccination policies of the BB&T Pavilion. They require all guests to provide printed proof of a negative test result (taken within 72 hours of the event) or vaccination, or the original vaccination card. Masks are required for the event for guests and participants.
Parking will be available at the following locations:
- City of Camden Parking Authority BB&T Pavilion – Lot 1 South Delaware Avenue Camden, NJ 08103
- City of Camden Parking Authority Theodore “Teddy” Hinson Waterfront Garage 10 South Delaware Avenue Camden, NJ 08103
Students and guests may also utilize the NJ Transit River Line. The BB&T Pavilion is directly across from the River Line’s Entertainment Center stop. Visit https://www.camden.rutgers.edu/commencement/parking-directions for more information.
Graduates will receive up to 8 tickets for guests. Tickets will be available for pick up at the Campus Center’s Impact Booth, beginning Monday, October 11. Tickets can be picked up between 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday – Friday. You must have a picture ID and wear a face mask when picking up your tickets.
For those who cannot make those times, the BB&T Pavilion Will Call Window will be open on Wednesday, November 10, beginning at 1 p.m. To pick up tickets, you must have a picture ID and wear a face mask. Only graduates can pick up tickets.
All guests need a ticket for entry (with the exception of children ages two and under, who must sit on someone’s lap). All tickets are general admission –there are no assigned guest seats. Guests enter through the Walt Whitman Lobby and will be seated beginning at 4p.m.

GradImages will be the official photographer for commencement. Your proofs will be ready to view online as soon as 48 hours after the ceremony.
Degree candidates should report at 4p.m. to the Benjamin Franklin Lobby at the BB&T Pavilion. Marshals will provide complete instructions at that time. CANDIDATES WILL PROCESS BY MAJOR. Graduates of the Graduate School–Camden will process first. Faculty marshals will start and guide each row of graduates to the stage. The commencement reader will announce the name of each candidate. Do not advance until your name is read. You may take your mask off to walk across the stage, and then put the mask back on before taking your seat again. Members of the administration will offer congratulations on the stage, but we ask that there is no hugging or hand shaking. We ask that you behave courteously toward other graduates. No air horns or any disruptive noisemakers will be permitted. Graduates are also expected to remain for the duration of the ceremony.
