English proficiency Requirements
Rutgers-Camden encourages international students to apply to our community. If you completed your secondary education in a country where English is not the primary language, English proficiency exams are a necessary requirement. Required Credentials for International Applicants
Regardless of U.S. residency status, an English proficiency examination is required of all students whose secondary schooling has been outside the U.S. in a country where English is not the principal language. Score reports must be from tests taken within the past two years and submitted directly to us from the testing service.
Exemptions
English language scores are not required for applicants when applicants have been:
Awarded a Degree from an English-Instruction Institution
Awarded a Degree from a U.S. Regionally Accredited Institution
Awarded a Degree in an English Speaking Country

Rutgers accepts the following standardized tests to determine the English proficiency of its international applicants.
