History (M.A.)

The learning goals encompass a wide range of skills and knowledge, including expanding your historical expertise and familiarity with historiography, deepening your understanding of historical theories, honing your ability to interpret primary sources, and equipping you with the proficiency to produce publishable-quality research papers. For students in our public history track, you’ll have the unique opportunity to develop advanced practical skills in several specialty areas of public history, gaining hands-on experience that is invaluable for building a successful career in public-facing institutions such as museums, archives, and historical sites.

This course explores Early Modern Europe’s transition from the Middle Ages to the Modern era, highlighting Europe’s rise as a global power and the birth of the modern state.

Application Deadlines
Preference is given to those submitted before the deadline for both decisions and funding opportunities. Applications received after the deadlines will be considered based on available space and budgetary constraints.
