Empowering Survivors: The Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance (VPVA)

At Rutgers University–Camden, the Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance (VPVA) is dedicated to fostering a campus environment free from violence. VPVA offers confidential counseling and advocacy services to students affected by sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and harassment. Additionally, the office provides educational programming and training to promote prosocial bystander behaviors and support student success.

Ensuring Campus Safety: A Collaborative Approach

Rutgers University–Camden is dedicated to maintaining a secure environment for its community. This commitment is upheld through the coordinated efforts of multiple agencies, including the Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD), Rutgers Public Safety, the Camden County Police, and the Delaware River Port Authority. Advancing Justice: The Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Program

The Master of Arts in Criminal Justice at Rutgers University–Camden equips students with an advanced understanding of criminal justice and public policy principles. The 30-credit program includes core courses in policy analysis, research methods, and data analysis, complemented by electives that allow for specialization. Designed to accommodate both working professionals and traditional students, the program offers classes primarily on weekday evenings. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in justice-related fields or for further doctoral studies.
