Dr. Michelle Meloy, Associate Dean of the Graduate School-Camden

Michelle Meloy, Ph.D., has been leading the Graduate School-Camden as its Associate Dean since 2019. A member of the Rutgers-Camden faculty since 2002, Dr. Meloy was promoted to the position of professor of criminal justice in 2015. From 2012 until 2019, she served as the director of the graduate program in Criminal Justice. Dr. Meloy’s research interests encompass gender and crime, victimization, high-risk communities, and criminal justice policy.
As the Associate Dean of Rutgers Graduate School-Camden, Dr. Meloy:
- Manages all aspects related to the Graduate School, including staff and students.
- Coordinates external reviews and the reaccreditation of all Faculty of Arts and Sciences departments and programs.
- Plays a key role in the development of special programs associated with the Graduate School and evaluates proposals for new graduate programs and certificates.
- Provides oversight for pertinent aspects of research centers and institutes.

Assistant Dean Watt-Udogu oversees school recruitment, admissions, and retention, while managing marketing, communications, and branding. He’s received awards for leadership, business process management, and website design and has spoken at conferences on data-driven decision-making and technology integration.

Sarah Johnson, the STEM Program Coordinator, balances responsibilities at the Graduate School and Joint Health Sciences Building. Her wealth of knowledge and experience contributes to effective communication, operations management, and active involvement in STEM program recruitment and admissions. A proud Rutgers-Camden alumna, she earned both graduate and undergraduate degrees as a Scarlet Raptor.
